If you require a repair to your property you can call us anytime. Even if you call out of office hours the call will be answered and Operatives are always available to deal with emergencies.

Please try and call within office hours unless it is an emergency.
 
By providing us with as much information as you can about the problem, it will enable us to carry out your repair quickly.
 
When reporting a repiaryou will need to provide us with your name, address and a contact telephone number, details of the repair and times you are usually at home. It may also help if you are able to look up the repair in the repairs insert in your handbook before you call.
 
Once you have reported your repair, you will recieve an acknolwedgement by post detailing the repair that has been ordered and a response time. You will also recieve a satisfaction questionnaire.
 
Below is a table of response times for each category of repair. You will be told with category your repair is in when reporting your repair.
 
Emergency
Carried out within 2 hours (make safe or repair)
Urgent
Carried out within 3 working days
Non Urgent
Carried out within 21 working days
Emergency – we will respond within two hours and complete the emergency work within 24 hours.
 
Remember: you may be charged for any damage you cause, accidental or otherwise. You are advised to take out contents insurance and to check that you are covered for damage to your personal possessions and to any Association fittings.
 
SSHA offer a Contents Insurance Scheme and recommend it to all their tenants. Joining the scheme is easy. Simply phone the 'My Home Contents Insurance Scheme', and speak to an advisor for an information pack.
