Paying your Rent
You can make a payment online by clicking here and following the online instructions to register and make a payment.
Your rent is set in accordance with Government guidelines. The aim is that by 2011 tenants renting similar homes in the same area will pay a similar rent regardless of which housing association or council they rent from.
Our rent setting policies are:
- To cover the association's costs of repair and maintenance of the properties, the management of tenancies and loan repayments of the original cost of the buildings.
- To be fair to all tenants, setting rent at levels that can be afforded by households in low paid employment and ensuring that similar properties have similar rents.
We review rents once a year and any changes come into effect from the first Monday in April.
Rent is due weekly in advance every Monday. Visit our ways to pay page to find out more.
If you have difficulty paying your rent, speak to your Neighbourhood Services Officer who will try to help you or see our useful links page for agencies that can give you advice.
