Improvement programme
In July 2000 the government established the 'Decent Homes' target to ensure that all social housing meets set standards of decency by 2010.
A 'decent home' is described as a home which is warm, has modern facilities and is wind and weather tight.
Our strategy is to provide homes that meet the 'Decent Homes' Standards.
In order to do this we may need to carry out improvements to your home.
This could include replacing your bathroom, kitchen, heating system, doors or windows, increasing the insulation and external decorating.
Take a look at our Plan of Investment 2006-2010 to find out whether any improvements are scheduled to be carried out on your home.
